Quill and Chill: Merry & Bright Cards

It's that time to spread holiday cheer-- and we need it more this year than ever! 

In this workshop, we'll create this card together using the art of paper quilling. Paper quilling is the ancient art of rolling and shaping paper strips into different designs. The possibilities are endless! 

This workshop is appropriate for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced, and for about ages 10+ (with adult assistance). I will guide you through the process step by step, and a replay of the event will be sent out afterwards. 

• Available to US participants only. (If you're outside the US and would like to join, please email hello@EdgeCraftATX to see what we can work out.) 
• Supply kits will be sent with everything you need for this project.
• The event will take place on Zoom. If you can't make it live, or would like to watch a replay, it will be sent out by email.
• The kit comes with enough materials to make 5 cards. We will be making only 1 in the live workshop, but the replay will be accessible for you to make the others later.
• Registration closes one week before the event to ensure you receive your materials in time.
• First time participants, please select the "Tools + Materials + Event" option. You will receive a kit in the mail with everything you need to create this item.
• If you've attended a workshop before and don't need tools again, simply select the "Materials + Event" option. You will receive the paper, glue, and string to make these with the tools you already have.

Full tool + material kits include: 

• Quilling needle tool
• Tweezers
• Circle sizer/ ruler
• Plastic sheet for gluing
• Paper strips
• 5 cards with "Merry and Bright" printed on them
• 5 envelopes
• 5 pillow boxes to protect them if you choose to mail them
• Glue

Material kits without the tools include:

• Paper strips

Additional tools you'll need at home:

• Scissors
• An additional longer ruler is helpful, but optional

*You'll also need scissors, not included in the kit.

**As a note, I plan on updating this design ASAP to clean up the lettering and a couple of other things. This is an older photo, but I wanted to get the event up quickly because I loooove you! It will be even better when I update it!
